EN 1092-1 flanges made from P355QH1 forgings of EN 10222-4 can be furnished in PN designations from PN 2.5 through PN 400. EN 10222-4 P355QH1, with the steel number of 1.0571, is a weldable fine grain steel with high proof strength. It is categorized into flange material group 8E3 according to EN 1092-1. EN 10222-4 standard is specifying strength values depending on different ranges of product thicknesses. The flange thickness (vR) related material values shall be used in calculation. For flanges with different vR, the pressure-temperature rating can be given for each vR. The pressure-temperature (P/T) rating tables below indicate the maximum allowable pressure (PS) in bar unit at the maximum allowable temperature (TS) in °C unit for P355QH1 flanges manufactured in accordance with EN 1092-1 in different PN designations.
