Can ASTM A350 LF2 Be Used at High Temperatures?

ASTM A350/ ASME SA-350 LF2 is a steel grade mainly applied to low temperature service. However, according to ASME B31.3 and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes, it can also be used for high temperature applications. A very common use is that they can be used for the manufacture of tubesheets for heat exchangers and heaters in high temperature and high pressure service.

The tubesheet made of forgings of ASME SA-350 Gr. LF2 Class 2.
