ASTM A234 WPB Applied to ASME BPVC

Seamless or welded pipe fittings made from ASTM A234/ ASME SA-234 Grade WPB can be extensively used in applications of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Codes. The ASTM A234 Gr. WPB is a plain carbon steel and its UNS designation is K03006 with P-number of 1. It can be applied to ASME BPVC Section I, III, VIII, and XII, with maximum temperature limits of 538°C, 371°C, 538°C, and 343°C, respectively.
