ASTM A213 TP310S seamless tubes for the construction of a superheater; specifications: 33 mm (o.d.) x 3 mm (w.t) x 6000 mm (l); supplied to Singapore; marked with China's equivalent grade 06Cr25Ni20.
ASTM A213 TP310S seamless tubes are made from austenitic stainless steel 25Cr-20Ni, which is higher in chromium and nickel. They have a very high resistance to corrosion and oxidation at elevated temperature. Thus, TP310S seamless tubing can be used for the construction of boilers, superheaters, and heat exchangers working at elevated temperatures in moderately oxidizing conditions. The tubing is generally furnished in outside diameter of 0.25″~5.00″ and minimum wall thickness of 0.015″~0.500″.

Flattening test and flaring test shall be made on specimens from each end of one finished tube. The ASTM A213 TP310S tubes, when inserted in a boiler or tube sheet, shall stand expanding and beading without showing cracks or flaws. When used for construction of superheaters, the tubes shall stand all forging, welding, and bending operations necessary for application without developing defects.
The ASTM A213 TP310S tubing shall be made by the seamless process and shall be either hot finished or cold finished. Solution annealing treatment shall be furnished at the minimum temperature of 1900°F [1040°C], followed by a subsequent quenching treatment. The TP310S tubes shall be pickled free of scale. When bright annealing is used, pickling is not necessary.
